Dear Parish Family,

Sunday, February 15 we will have the special visit of the María Visión television network at our church Saint Teresa .

This is a beautiful and unique opportunity to showcase the vibrant spiritual life of our parish and to present a joyful witness of faith as one united parish family. It is also a wonderful moment to come together in prayer and allow many others to experience the blessings of our community through this broadcast.

I warmly invite all of you to make a special effort to attend the Eucharist that day. Your presence will not only strengthen our parish family, but will also reflect the faith, devotion, and unity that define Saint Teresa church.

Let us gather as one community to celebrate our faith and share the light of Christ with many others.

With gratitude and blessings,

Fr. Erlin Garcia

Our Walk on the Via Fidelis

Via Fidelis is a five-year Pastoral Plan of Most Rev. Jacques Fabre-Jeune, CS of the Diocese of Charleston guiding us to walk more deeply in the faithful way of the Lord Jesus Christ.  This incredible spiritual initiative, inspired by our Lord's words, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life" (Jn 14:6), invites each of us to recommit to our faith and strengthen our relationship with God and one another. Together, as a diocesan family, we will explore the beauty of our beliefs, renew our commitment to serve, and share the Good News of the salvation with the world.

Each year has a theme and each month a dedicated activity to grow in the Way.  Below is the summary for Year 1 - 2025.  For more information, go to the Diocese of Charleston's Via Fidelis web page.  This page also has the Pastoral Letter, updates, and soon-to-be-available Spanish translations of all resources.

Year 1 - 2025: Proclaim the Faith

Just as the catechumenate begins with an initial stage during which the Gospel is heard and internalized, so our Via Fidelis begins its first year by placing an emphasis on the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ. Much like the catechumenal process, this reception of the initial proclamation of the Gospel will lead us to give a deeper reflection to the truths of the faith, which flow from the Good News.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

as we journey along the faithful way, may we be so full of your love that we draw others to you, to the Way, the Truth and the Life.

As you walk beside us, may we support one another in prayer and humble service.

Open our pilgrim hearts so we might joyfully proclaim your message of hope.

In this Year of Evangelization, let us keep our eyes ever fixed on you.

We ask this in the mighty name of your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord, and through

the power of your Holy Spirit.

Amen.
